It is getting warmer day by day. There were a number of people taking pictures of cherry blossoms in full bloom on YNU campus around the first and second week of April.

YNU entrance ceremony was held on April 5, and we welcomed 2,833 new students to our campus. As of May 1, a total of 861 international students from 59 countries are enrolled at YNU.

YNU is holding two alumni reunions in Vietnam: in Hanoi on June 13 and in Ho Chi Minh on June 15.

◆２◆ YNU Shanghai Alumni members honorably won the 4th prize in “The 13th Shanghai All Japan Inter –University Golf Tournament”

Fifteen members from YNU Shanghai Alumni Association took part in “The 13th Shanghai All Japan Inter-University Golf Tournament” in early May. They honorably won the 4th prize among 34 Japanese university participants.

◆４◆ The 6th PUL International Seminar Held at the University of Southampton in the UK

Port-city University League (PUL), which was established in 2006 by the proposal of YNU, held the 6th International Seminar at the University of Southampton in the UK from March 26 to 28 under the theme of “The Future - Mechanisms and directions for multi-lateral collaboration”.

◆５◆　Memorandum of Understanding between YNU and UNU was concluded

On April 5, the United Nations University Vice-Rector Professor Govindan Parayil visited YNU and signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the United Nations University and YNU.

We have now opened the website of YUN Museum, which was established in December 2011.
