On Friday, August 4, 2017, the closing ceremony for the JOY program took place in the Information Lounge following the Poster Session in which the JOY students presented their findings about themes related to Japan with an international perspectives.
44 JOY students from 27 partner universities in 13 countries and regions completed their stay at YNU.

As the Poster Session was open to the public, many participants such as advisors, instructors, student tutors and volunteer members attended the ceremony.
The students and participants together chatted about the presentations of the Poster Session and also precious memories in their time in Japan with some refreshments. The students were reluctant to leave each other, Yokahama National University and Japan.
