3. "Global Commons" Call for student projects

In April 2023, the "Global Commons" opened in Media Booth 106 on the first floor of the Central Library and has been used by many students. The "Global Commons" is international exchange space that can be used by anyone, regardless of whether they are undergraduate or graduate students, Japanese or international students.
We hope that the Global Commons will be used as a place for international exchange, and we will support student projects for international exchange! We are looking forward to hearing from you about your plans that will allow students to interact more with international students outside of classes and assignments, or that will allow them to experience different cultures in a fun way!

Target Audience

The project must be related to international exchange.

【Prohibited Items】※ We will not provide support if any of the following activities are found.
(1) Those with a profit-making purpose
(2) Those that involve the giving or receiving of money
(3) Those whose purpose is to engage in club or circle activities
(4) For the purpose of activities of a specific political party or other political organization
(5) Those that engage in activities that offend public order and morals.
(6) Any other activities that are not in line with the University's policies.

Venue

Media Booth 106 "Global Commons" on the 1st floor of the Central Library is available for use.

Examples of projects

Multilingual social gatherings, English study groups, Japanese study groups, etc.

We are looking for projects to be held on a regular basis. (e.g., every Wednesday 2nd period, every other Thursday 4th period, etc.)
