YNU provides following services for students and researchers of the universities affected by the 3.11 earthquake and its aftermath.

Use of Our University Library

YNU welcomes students and researchers of the affected universities to make use of our university library and internet services under following terms.

Period: Until the end of April, 2011 (tentative)

Services Available:
- Access to reading materials
- Loan-out of reading materials
- Use of library facilities
- Use of copy machines
- Use of online journals and databases
Some journals and databases may not be available for contractual restrictions.
-Use of PCs
PCs at the library PC Plaza can be used after obtaining network connection ID.
Your own PC can be connected to our wireless LAN.
Some software may not be available for contractual restrictions.)

Support for Students of Affected Universities

YNU welcomes students of affected universities who have evacuated to Yokohama and its neighborhood and allows them to take lectures as special auditing students. Exemption of examination fees, entrance fees and tuition fees are available.

Support for Researchers

YNU provides research space and instrument for researchers of affected universities who have difficulty in reconstructing their research environments for a long term. YNU also helps such researchers find accommodation.
