YNU signed an agreement in establishing its international branch with University of Sao Paolo (USP)

On May 22, 2015, YNU signed an agreement with USP in establishing its international branch on the USP campus.The number of students counts about 130,000 at USP, the highest level in Brazil. USP is one of the best universities in Central and South America. USP is under the inter-university agreement with YNU, and liaison offices are located at each school. YNU has established a branch as a hub for international education, and research in Central, and South America.

YNU Vice-President Fumihiko Nakamura, and Senior Staff of International Division Yosuke Yoshida from YNU attended at the signing ceremony. With Dean of College of Engineering Prof. Dr. Jose Roberto Castilho Piqueira, and the related staffs of USP present, they signed an agreement. Local media interviewed Vice-President Nakamura, and USP branch manager Prof. Dr. Andre Riyuiti Hirakawa at the ceremony.

YNU branch at USP will be a hub for practical research, research development, and cultivation of human resource to achieve sustainable development by joint work of Asia, and Central, South America.
