On Thursday of June 18th, 2015, four members including President B. Ochirbat from MUST visited YNU to hold a signing ceremony for an academic exchange agreement with YNU. President Yuichi Hasebe, along with Executive Director Fumihiko Nakamura, Executive Director Shin Morishita, Prof. Seiya Negami (Dean of the Faculty of Environment and Information Sciences), Prof. Hitoshi Yamada (Member of Education and Research Council) and Mr. Hiroshi Inoue (Deputy Manager of International Office) welcomed the visitors from MUST at Conference Room No.1, the Administration Bureau. Ms. K. Ariunjargal (Graduate school of Environment Information Sciences) and Ms. B. Erdenetuya (Graduate school of International Social Sciences) served as interpreters at the ceremony.

Prior to the signing ceremony, both presidents gave an address, and introduced each university. At the luncheon meeting, all the attendees enjoyed Japanese-style lunch boxes, had a talk in the warm atmosphere. They actively exchanged a dialogue of how to promote mutual collaboration and research between MUST and YNU.

Later this month, Shine Mongol High School students are to visit YNU and to hold student exchange events. It will be a great opportunity to build a better relationship and to reach understandings between Mongolia and Japan.
