paid a courtesy call to East China Normal University (ECNU)

On July 20, 2015, YNU President Yuichi Hasebe, Executive Director of International Office and Public Relations Fumihiko Nakamura, Executive Advisor to the President Kazuyuki Hiratsuka, and Deputy Manager of International Office Hiroshi Inoue paid a courtesy call to East China Normal University.
ECNU is one of the leading universities in China. ECNU and YNU have been engaging in active exchanges since they signed the Inter-University Exchange Agreement in 2000.
ECNU President CHEN-Qun welcomed the YNU delegates, along with Dean of Finance Research Institute LI-Wei, and Business School Associate Professor LI-Jing, who graduated from YNU.

In 2009, College of Business Administration of YNU signed the Memorandum of MBA Education with ECNU while Faculty of Environment and Information Sciences of YNU signed the Memorandum of Collaboration with the university. In 2014, College of Economics of YNU concluded the agreement on double-degree programs with Business School of ECNU.
Both parties discussed expanding exchanges in the near future such as joint-research between the Institute of Urban Development of ECNU and Faculty of Urban Innovation of YNU, and promoting double-degree programs at graduate school level.
On this occasion, YNU President Hasebe presented lectures to students of Business School from July 20th to the 22nd in response to the School’s request.
