On October 18th Thursday, 2018, Professor Ichiro Araki of the Faculty of International Social Sciences and International Office Administrative Staff Ayaka Masuda visited the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), Vietnam. This visit was after the international seminar of Port-city Universities League (PUL) in Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.

Firstly, the delegation visited the School of International Business - Marketing and met with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Thanh Trang, Dean of the School of International Business - Marketing and Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Thu, Head of Division. After the introduction of each university, they agreed to develop their relationship though promoting student exchange and joint activity such as co-hosting a conference, faculty exchange, and developing teaching programs, as the School of International Business - Marketing, UEH and the Faculty and the Graduate School of International Social Sciences, YNU already had some collaborative activities.

After that, the delegation visited the School of Law and met with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Tri Hao. Then, Prof. Araki made a presentation to the students regarding the introduction of YNU and explanation about the Doctoral Program in Transnational Law and Policy which is conducted by the Department of International and Business Law, the Graduate School of International Social Sciences, YNU.

Through this visit, further development of cooperation with the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City is expected.
