Visiting the Information Processing Center
On June 29th, 9 members (2 teaching staffs, 7 undergraduate students) from Mokpo National University (Korea) visited YNU.
Mokpo National University was founded in 1946, located in Jeollanam-do, southwestern side of Korea, with more than 10,000 students enrolled. Members of visiting group to Japan was selected as one of the most outstanding students among them to visit Japan for observing current Japanese society, and their visit to YNU was part of their object.
On the day, an exchange student from Korea, currently studying at YNU Faculty of Economics, volunteered as an interpreter and a campus tour guide for the visiting group.
At the Information Processing Center, members were given a tour guide by Associate Professor Xu Haoyuan while intensely observing the facilities of the Center. Then, the group visited YNU Central Library and also had a lunch at the university cafeteria while feeling the atmosphere of YNU. The group also had a chance to have a familiar talk with some Korean students who currently study at YNU.
In spite of a short visit without having an official exchange opportunity with YNU students, it is hoped that this visit has been a wonderful memory for the group members.
