3. "BOSAI" Seminar in English 英語で学ぶ防災 -NHKによる防災セミナー-

We are pleased to announce the “Bosai” (disaster prevention) Seminar in cooperation with NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) as follows.
Japan is one of the world's most disaster-prone countries because of its climate and topography. As Japan’s only public service broadcaster, NHK focuses on disaster prevention reporting and offers services such as disaster prevention apps. This time, you can listen to a seminar by a former NHK World Anchor and have VR earthquake experiences.
This seminar, which was previously held for international students, will now be open to a wider audience, including Japanese students involved in supporting international students, volunteers, and members of the local community. (This seminar will be given in English.)
We look forward to your kind participation!

日本放送協会（NHK）のご協力のもと、防災セミナーを開催します。
日本はその気候や地形から、世界でも有数の災害国で、日頃から防災に備えることが大切です。今回は、元NHKワールドのキャスターによる防災セミナーやVR地震体験などを予定しております。また、これまで留学生を対象に実施していたものですが、今回は「英語で学ぶ防災」と題し、留学生のサポートに携わる日本人学生、ボランティアの方々、地域の方々など広く対象に開催いたします。（本セミナーは英語で行われます。）
