On Thursday, September 25, 2014, University of International Business and Economics (UIBE, China) President Shi Jianjun and other 4 faculties and administrative staff members visited YNU.

UIBE is not only one of YNU’s partner universities but a site to place a liaison office based on the mutual agreements. The two universities have come to grips with establishment of YNU Branch Office in UIBE as a strategic base in the region of Beijing, China, for the UIBE people to visit YNU for the signing ceremony of the agreements.

The delegates visited the President’s Office to be welcomed by President SUZUKI Kunio, Executive Director KOKUBUN Yasuo and YAMADA Hitoshi, Faculty of International Social Sciences Professor AKIYAMA Taro, and other 4 administrative staff members. UIBE Associate Professor and YNU Liaison Officer LIU Qingbin, YNU Center for Economic Growth Strategy Cooperative Researcher acted as a translator to start the talk and make the atmosphere friendly. The Branch Office Agreements were signed with no problems by the two presidents. After the ceremony, they had a luncheon meeting to have active discussions mutually on the future activities by the new YNU Branch Office.
