Disciplinary Action

The university will take disciplinary action against those who act contrary to the student's duty.
Depending on the severity of the case, the students will be reprimanded, suspended or expelled from the university.
Reprimand: students are reprimanded verbally or in writing
Suspension: students are suspended from the university for a certain period
Expulsion: students lose status as Yokohama National University student
Any disciplinary action will be recorded in the school register. The students’ parents will receive notification about discipline action. And a notice will be posted on the bulletin board at campus for a certain period.
The period of suspension does not count towards the enrollment period as requirement for graduation. If the students are suspended for more than three months, they will postpone graduation.
