In the evening of June 23rd, 2013, YNU had a mini Alumni Reunion in Beijing, China. Although it was on very short notice, more than a dozen alumni gathered at a two hour long party. From YNU, President Kunio Suzuki, Vice President Hitoshi Yamada, and the Graduate School of Environment and Information Sciences Dean Shin Morishita participated in the event. When President Suzuki introduced the recent activities of the university and mentioned about the result of a survey conducted by Nikkei Human Resources, Inc. that YNU was chosen as the second best university in Japan in terms of the fulfillment of campus life, there were cheers and applause. Later everyone shared their latest news and their good old days at YNU and bid farewell until next time.
