On October 11th, 2016 (Tue.), Indian National Science Academy Fellow, Third World Academy of Science Fellow and BBA University Vice-Chancellor R.C.Sobti and his wife visited YNU. The courtesy visit was made at the President office to be welcomed by President Yuichi Hasebe, vice-chancellor Shin Morishita, and Faculty of Engineering Professor Masatoshi Watanabe. He was invited by the Japanese Cancer Association for presentation in the 75th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Cancer Association. We exchanged our opinions frankly on cooperation between Japan and India.

In the same day, He also exchanged opinions with Professor, MICT center Director, Ryuji Kohno on business, research and education. After these events, he and his wife made a trip to The Ion-beam Radiation Oncology Center in Kanagawa (i-ROCK).
