Quantum Information Research Center (QIC) Releases New Video Highlighting Its Research Activities

Yokohama National University’s Institute of Advanced Sciences, Quantum Information Research Center (QIC), has released a video introducing its latest research activities. In this video, Director Kosaka and the QIC team talk about their research goals and the exciting results they’re aiming for. It showcases cutting-edge research focused on developing the interfaces and memories that link quantum computers with quantum communication, paving the way for future quantum networks.

The year 2025 has been designated as the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, led by UNESCO, drawing worldwide attention to quantum technologies. This video was created to share QIC’s research with the international physics community as part of this global momentum.

The video premiered at the APS Global Physics Summit, held from March 16–21, 2025, in Anaheim, California, and online. It’s now available for everyone to watch on YouTube.

Please take this opportunity to watch and learn more about QIC’s pioneering work.
