Opening Ceremony for JOY Program Spring 2017 was held in the International Student Center (ISC)
On Tuesday, April 4, 2017, the opening ceremony for the JOY program (YNU short-term exchange program) was held in the International Student Center (ISC) with the attendance of the director of international strategy section, JOY program coordinators, advisors and instructors at ISC.
The ceremony was begun with a welcome speech by the director of international strategy section, Hiromi Kabashima and followed by self-introductions of new JOY students and instructors.
23 students from 17 partner universities in 13 countries and regions were enrolled in the English-language based JOY program as new exchange students.
JOY students are taking courses for Japanese language learning and those offered in English. Regular students in YNU are also able to take “Liberal Arts Education” offered in English so please check the syllabi if you are interested in studying abroad and international exchange.
