Overseas Travel and New Entry into Japan

Dear YNU Students, Faculties and Administrative Staffs

Considering the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19, overseas travel and new entry into Japan for YNU students, faculties, administrative staffs and visiting researchers are asked to follow the measures below from April 2021 onwards.

1. Overseas travel departing Japan remains not be permitted in principle from April onwards.
In case an urgent travel becomes necessary, please contact the office of your college/graduate school for students, and office of your department for faculties and administrative staffs. In addition, office of each college/graduate school should contact the Vice president (Global Affairs) (Office: International Education Division) in case of students and office each department should contact the Director of International Strategy Organization (Office: International Office) in case of faculties and administrative staffs.

2. For international students and visiting researchers who plans for new entry into Japan, please visit the following notice dated March 4th, 2021.
