The Future Forum "Talking Management with Carlos Ghosn" Takes Place

YNU, in a joint sponsorship with Nissan Motor Company, Ltd., held a "Future Forum: Nissan's Challenge to Become the Industry Leader in Electric Vehicles," where Mr. Carlos Ghosn and students could exchange views together, at the Nissan Hall, the automaker's global headquarters, on December 17, 2010. YNU and Nissan had formed an systematic alliance in multiple fields of research, teaching and community outreach since 2005. The 600 seating capacity Nissan Hall was completely filled with students from YNU and other universities as well as the general public.


At the beginning of the Forum, CEO Carlos Ghosn delivered a speech entitled "CEO's Decision for Promoting Electric Vehicles", followed by a panel discussion with five YNU student panelists.
Lively discussions and Q&A ensued during the panel discussion session on topics Mr. Ghosn outlined such as "breakthroughs toward realizing the zero-emission strategy" and "management's commitment to breakthroughs."
