YNU Signed on the Student International Exchange Program Agreement with Dalian University of Technology (China)
On Monday, April 14th, 2014, YNU President Kunio Suzuki, Vice President Hitoshi Yamada visited Vice President Ning Guiling Ph.D. of Dalian University of Technology (China) to sign on an Agreement on the Student International Exchange Program.
From Dalian University of Technology, Dean of DUT-EU International School of Information, Professor Zhao Shengchuan, Ph.D., Dean of School of Software Technology Professor Luo Zhong Xuan, Ph.D., Section Chief of International Office, Wang Jue, Vice director of School of Foreign Languages, You Zhishen, Program Coordinator of International Office, Qu Yuan and from YNU, College of Education and Human Sciences(Head of International Strategy Organization Language Education Section) Professor Kunitoshi Takahashi, International Strategy Organization, Professor Yoshimi Ogawa, Information Technology Service Center, Professor Xu Haoyuan, and International Office Manager, Ms. Yoko Ito attended the agreement ceremony and the singing was held in a serene atmosphere.
YNU and Dalian University of Technology have cooperated in various educational and research activities since the academic agreement was concluded between the universities in 2009, a crystallization of such is the establishment of the International Liaison Offices in both universities in 2012.
It will be expected that the conclusion of the agreement on the student international exchange program will enable both universities to cooperate and carry out high quality programs together.
At the exchange of opinions, both universities confirmed the importance of one another, and discussed on the establishment of the double degree program and joint degree program between the universities. In the end, both universities agreed to continue strengthen their cooperation in the future.
