On February 22nd, 2016 (Mon), University of Sao Paulo Professor Kazuo Nishimoto visited YNU. Professor Nishimoto visited Japan to attend the 13th symposium of YNU’s Institute of Advanced Studies, hosted by the Safety of Marine Structures and Environmental Protection research unit.

Prof. Nishimoto’s delegation visit was held at the Executive Director’s room, and President Yuichi Hasebe, Executive Director, Vice-President in International / External Relations Fumihiko Nakamura, and Graduate School Faculty of Engineering Professor Makoto Arai attended. Issues about the Port Cities Universities League (The 9th international seminar was held at the University of Sao Paulo on October 2015), the Study in Japan Fair which is scheduled to be held at Sao Paulo on March 2016, and the double degree program which was concluded between the University of Sao Paulo and YNU were discussed.
We hope this visit will become an opportunity to strengthen the bond and enhance the interexchange between the two universities.
