University of Lampung (Indonesia) Visited YNU

On March 3, 2016 (Thu), University of Lampung President Hasriadi Mat Akin, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration Dean Satria Bangsawan, and International Program Head Mudji Rahmat Ramelan visted YNU. University of Lampung and YNU signed an academic exchange agreement on 2009 and has maintained a close relationship ever since.

The meeting was held at the No.2 conference room at the Administrative building, and from YNU College of Business Administration Dean Hiroshi Morita, Faculty of Environment and Information Sciences Dean Seiya Negami, Director of International Strategy Section Professor Hiromi Kabashima, Faculty of International Social Sciences Professor Keiichi Yamazaki and Professor Motonari Tanabu, Faculty of Environment and Information Sciences Professor Nobuhiro Kaneko and Assoc. Professor Naoya Kasai, and International Office Head Ms. Yoko Ito welcomed the guests.

In addition, Indonesian students currently studying at YNU, Ms. Nining Purwasih of the Graduate School of Environment and Information Studies, and Mr. Andius Dasa Putra of the Graduate School of Urban Innovation joined the meeting.

A campus tour was conducted in the afternoon, and the guests toured the Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of International Social Sciences, and the University Library, the Student Center, and also the laboratories of Professor Kaneko and Assoc. Professor Kasai.

The final destination was the Center for Creation of Symbiosis Society with Risk, led by Assoc. Professor Kasai, and the guests enjoyed a trial run on “MIRAI”, which is a Toyota Motor manufactured fuel-cell vehicle which uses hydrogen for fuel.We hope this visit will lead to expanding the relationship with University of Lampung.
