On June 8th, 2016, Wednesday Vice President Zhongxiu Zhao who is Doctor Honoris Causa of YNU and the representatives from University of International Business and Economics visited YNU.

University of International Business and Economics and YNU signed the academic exchange agreement in 2012 and set the international branch in 2014.

The courtesy visit was made at the President Office and President Yuichi Hasebe, Executive Director Fumihiko Nakamura, Dean Taro Akiyama from the Faculty of International Social Sciences and Professor Xu Hao Yuan from International Strategy Organization and Manager of International Office Tomoko Takeuchi welcomed the delegations from University of International Business and Economics.

First, President Hasebe gave a speech to welcome the guests. Then Executive Director Fumihiko Nakamura explained the international activities that YNU has been working on and the study-abroad programs that is newly introduced.

The meeting of the two universities went well in a friendly atmosphere, taking an advantage of the several times of the past exchanges. The delegation also visited Faculty of Human Sciences after this meeting.

It is expected that this visit will newly develop the cooperative relationships for future.
