On April 2nd Tuesday, 2019, Rector Doan Quang Vinh and International Branch Manager of YNU Dr. Le Anh Tuan from the University of Da Nang, University of Technology visited YNU.

The visitors were welcomed by President Yuichi Hasebe, Vice President Fumihiko Nakamura and International Office Manager Tomoki Nitta.

During their visit, they discussed about enforcing the Memorandum of Understanding regarding the student exchange program and the double degree program, signed last year. They discussed about the timing and program details of implementation in order to accept the students from the University of Da Nang, University of Technology to YNU. Starting with the field of Civil Engineering, it has been confirmed that it will be developed in other field in the future.

Rector Vinh stayed in Japan until April 6th Saturday, and he made a courtesy visit to Yokohama Director-General, as well as discussing about research and student exchange, such as in power system field, civil engineering field, chemistry and risk management field, material engineering field, energy and thermal engineering field, Ocean Engineering, telecommunication and mechanical engineering within the university..

Through this visit, the further development of exchanges between the University of Da Nang, University of Technology and YNU is expected.
