YNU Thailand Alumni Reunion was held in Bangkok

On Sunday, September 7, 2025, YNU Thailand Alumni Reunion was held in Bangkok. This was the first alumni gathering held in Thailand in approximately nine years since the previous event in 2016. Seventeen alumni came together from various regions, joined by Prof. TANABU Motonari, Vice President for Education and Global Affairs, along with several faculty members and staff from YNU.
The event began with opening remarks from Prof. TANABU, followed by a warm greeting and a toast from Dr. Thanong Bidaya, the President of YNU Thailand Alumni Association. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Thanong Bidaya and Mr. Niti Wirudchawong for their dedicated efforts in organizing this memorable occasion.
Throughout the event, alumni shared updates on their recent activities, reminisced about their time in Japan, and fondly recalled their experiences at YNU. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, filled with lively conversations and reconnections.
This reunion served as a meaningful opportunity for alumni to reaffirm and strengthen their bonds. Everyone expressed their commitment to cherishing and nurturing these connections. We look forward to seeing even more active exchanges and a stronger alumni network in the future.
