T.I.M.E. Association General Assembly 2026
From September 30 to October 3, 2026, representatives from Yokohama National University participated in the T.I.M.E. Association (Top International Managers in Engineering) General Assembly 2026, held at Doshisha University. The delegation included Professor Shimono (Executive Advisor to the President and T.I.M.E. Coordinator), Professor Fujimoto (Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering), Ms. Sakurai (Section Chief, Graduate School of Engineering Science Section), Professor Hasegawa (International Strategy Organization), and Ms. Kuroki (International Planning Section).
The T.I.M.E. Association is an international network of leading technical universities and engineering schools, primarily in Europe, that promotes double degree programs, student mobility, and academic and research collaboration in engineering. Yokohama National University officially joined the association in 2018 and currently operates double degree programs with the University of São Paulo (doctoral level only) in Brazil and the University of Padova in Italy.
During the General Assembly, delegates engaged in active discussions with representatives from member institutions around the world on promoting double degree programs. The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to share initiatives and challenges at each institution and to deepen discussions on further strengthening international collaboration.
