Following the spread of novel coronavirus which has been seen in metropolitan area including Tokyo and Kanagawa, YNU has decided to take the following measures in order to prevent the spread of virus and preserve the safe and secure environment for students.

1. There has been no person found infected with novel coronavirus so far in Tokiwadai Campus.

2. Please avoid attending an event which may cause a close contact with other people for the time being. Please refrain from holding such event. In addition, please do not invite person to attend extracurricular activities.

3. Following any further notice from the government, there is a chance that YNU will change the academic calendar.

4. YNU will make decision whether or not to change the academic calendar by March 27th, and notify it on this website.

5. Regardless of whether the academic calendar changes or not, an orientation for new graduate and undergraduate students as well as the English placement test for new undergraduate students will be held as scheduled while taking any precautious measures against the spread of infection.
