国から、年末年始期間中に帰省する方に対し、次の呼びかけ・周知を行うよう依頼がありました。

・帰省前及び帰省先から戻った際に検査を受けていただくこと
　特にオミクロン株対応ワクチンを未接種の方は、オミクロン株対応ワクチンを接種していただく
　とともに、積極的に検査を受けていただくこと
・年末年始期間中（令和４年 12 月 24 日から令和５年１月 12 日まで。以下同じ。）、
　上記の呼びかけに応じて行われる検査は、新型コロナウイルス感染症対応地方創生臨時交付金の
　検査促進枠における「ワクチン検査パッケージ・対象者全員検査等定着促進事業」により、無料
　で行うことが可能であり、全国１万３千箇所以上の検査拠点において検査を受けられること
・年末年始期間中、主要な駅（駅周辺を含む。）や空港等で臨時の無料検査拠点を拡充すること

The Japanese government has made the following announcements to those who will return to their hometowns during the year-end and new year holidays.

・Take an inspection of COVID-19 before returning to/after coming from your hometown.
Especially those who have not taken the Omicron-Specific COVID-19 Booster Vaccination are requested to take the vaccine and the inspection.
・During the year-end and new year holidays (from December 24, 2022, to January 12, 2023), it is free to take the inspection of COVID-19 at more than 13,000 testing sites nationwide. (Conducted under the "Vaccine inspection package to promote the establishment of inspections for all eligible persons" in the inspection promotion frame of the temporary subsidy for regional revitalization in response to the novel coronavirus infectious disease.)
・Temporary free inspection sites will be expanded at hub stations, areas around them, and airports during the year-end and New Year period.
